Ive been thinking of going caffeine and alcohol free for a while. Alcohol wouldnt be an issue but I really love coffee.

i drink a cup of coffee about 4 to 5 days a week. Don’t smoke or drink and never have.

I’d like to try LSD one day.

I never had any not because I wouldn’t but because it’s ridiculously expensive to me.

    Never smoked either.

    I drink on occasions only.

I’ve got a friend who was drinking 3 shots of coffee a day just to not melt from exhaustion, if not more. He decided to stop completely, sleept horibly for a week then he was great. Now one cup of coffee gets him really eletric.

I’ve been almost a year without drinking considerable quantities of alcohol and it feels pretty good. In fact now I dislike drinking. Recently I drank half a shot of vodka and almost threw up.

I’d think it’s not about going to 0 coffee and staying like that, but about building a better relation to it. Like medicine. Take it when you need it, don’t overdo it.

I drink tea, but not like a “coffee drinker” drinks coffee, nor how the average American drinks soda.

The caffeine doesn’t feel noticeable to me, but I am still mindful of drinking it right before bed.

I just like my oolong sessions.

I did that once, and I discovered that I had been effectively self medicating, and I had my doses pretty much figured out.

Now I try to stay on my substances, and I take care to treat them with respect - neither over or under using them.

I’ve never been drinking or smoking, or using drugs. No coffee either. It’s because I’m an autistic mess and also because my intestines like to kill themselves. I feel like I lack some sort of important human experience in this since I can’t even tell a cool story how I realized it’s just not for me or something. I simply never got into any of it lmao

Lately I’ve been mostly avoiding caffeine, but probably for a different reason than OP.
My goal is to get to the point where if I need to stay alert, caffeine would have a significant effect. So far I believe I’m not there yet, if I ever will be. (Might be genetic)

I don’t like the taste or smell of alcohol, so that’s just never been a thing for me.

Never smoked or vaped anything. Can’t understand why people start smoking nicotine, when it seems so obviously terrible.

One thing that helped me quit coffee was drinking tea. I know it’s still got caffeine, but if you’re drinking 4 or 5 cups a day that brings the amount of caffeine waaaay down.

The fun flavor ones also don’t necessarily contain caffeine. Only the ones with black/green tea in it do, there are many so-called teas that don’t have any real tea leaves and just make the water taste better.
