Getting ready for summer by investing in some blockout curtains. Taking down the semi-sheer dark coloured bullshit roller blinds. Gonna start with adhesive rod hooks but I see renters are allowed to drill mounts these days. I think I’d only need 1 extra hole and could do the sheer/blockout combo. Couldn’t give a flying fuck about body corporate insisting on dark curtains, they’ll never know. Love a project!
can just put up sheer curtains instead. Store the rollers nicely and put them back when you leave. We had the ol’ aluminium venetians for our last house stuffed in a cupboard for 12 years :P

Buy some of the blackout window film. It helps loads. Peels off easy too when renting.
