I have the intro to mojo pin by Buckley locked down.

Months of vocal exercises (which have helped in lots of ways), but they finally paid off.

Maybe these train people massively underestimate how many people they can fit in a train or people don’t show up. Twice now I’ve been able to go to a steam train event and ask about getting on a sold out train. Twice we’ve gotten on amd there was space to space. You should buy your tickets ahead of time whenever possible but it seems worth asking on the day if things don’t work out

Really saw the benefit of those camera filters today. The fixed shutter speed on the camera gives a nice motion blur like when you look out of a train in real life

It’s my IRL b’day today and to celebrate I’m changing the alarm batteries because it keeps beeping at me except I’ve lost the ladder. Not sure how you lose a ladder but I can’t find it anywhere.

Which calls for a Rave choon

We went to the Pt Leo Estate sculpture park juuuust as the sun came out, it was freaking beautiful!

This was my favourite piece, loved looking at changing as we walked around.

I am just on my home from the city, where I was required to walk a decent chunk due to trams not running with a rally/protest on. Not even mad about it. perfect day out there now that the fog has cleared

Saw my cousin play lead guitar with the band he’s in, The Gems, and he’s great! It was a single launch, and they had two support acts both were fucking cool as.

    Terrible Muriel

Highly recommend Terrible Muriel for those into 90s/early 00s girl punk pop bands. They reminded me of Splendora (chicks who did the theme song for Daria) in a fantastic way. They’re so cool, and hot, and the one of the bass guitar kinda makes my heart skip lol. The lead singer is also the drummer! Impressive!

    Jiminy Crickets

Love these guys so much. Heavier, rockier sound, dorky and funny. They did a heavy cover of Rasputin and had the whole floor jumping including my 56yo dad lol. Highly recommend for those into a heavier rock sound with a splendid mix of male and female vocals. Also, another hot girl on bass 😍 (reminds me of Mona Lisa from Parks and Rec 😍😍😍)

    The Gems

I’d have to say, The Gems have a sound that gives 60s/70s fun rock and 80s/90s heavy rock. Like, it’s feel good, can be light in sound or heavy, timeless like anyone of any age can get into their stuff. Also another hot lady on bass! It was a great night for my little bi heart 🤤

Edit to add: the photos make it look like there was no crowd lol it was packed as fuck literally just to the right of those pics, because that’s where the couches and bar were 😂 dad, partner and I parker ourselves at the back of an enclave thing so we could see (also there were bench seats back there heh).

'Twas at The Tote in Collingwood, within which I witnessed a man who’s beaver tail had split in two and was touching the ground. It was very impressive, if extremely gross. I don’t think he’s even looked at a comb since 1988 tbh 😂

Ended up back in brunny at like half past midnight, so partner and I grabbed a borek each from Eat24. So glad there’s a 24/7 Turkish bakery on the corner 🙌

My daughter built a computer. There was lots of boxes. She used YouTube. There was no swearing and it works. That’s all I know.

Hurstbridge Wattle Festival today. Most people will be looking at the steam train, I’m going to see if I can recognise any local train youtubers we watch

We were on the 10:15 going to Eltham. I broke the one rule of these train rides and got off because my son had to go to the toilet. So we had to take a normal train back to Hurstbridge
