Yep. They cited it as a source of climate panic. Which, like, yeah, knowing what’s actually happening with the climate right now definitely will freak you out, but…

The oligarchs know full well what’s happening, course. Before their strategy was in buying the narrative - e.g. scientists don’t all agree on this (cos we funded and amplified two crackpots), or “we’re actually still in an Ice Age”, or “how to reduce your personal carbon footprint” - but they also know there’s going to be a tremendous amount of anger and upheaval when critical systems of human society start to break down and they don’t want any of that righteous ire directed at themselves.

If I had to guess I’d say some corporations specialized in fucking up ecosystems bribed him. As a result they will enjoy a short term increase in profits (or at least in stock market valuation) from being able to conduct business unchecked.

A healthy, broadly educated population, which feels safe and secure, are incompatible with, and toxic to, conservative and authoritarian ideologies.

The upcoming el nino and blue ocean event/s are going to seriously start moving the timelines up for all this collapsey apocalypse shit, and we’re already well into ‘faster than expected’ territory as it is.

Well helping running the way and the Marshall plan after that was what laid the basis for the ‘America as a role model’ and subsequent decades of televised and movie propaganda was what consolidated it.

It was already eroding under Bush, but this dipshit has spent all the goodwill there was.

So at least 85 years, I’ll say

He got feet inside just past the security gate and then fell down due to nothing. He got a visual on nobody in particular and named nobody in particular and there is no conclusive evidence he fired any bullets. He might as well have stayed home and played in his yard, not even close.

My grandfather had skin cancer and type 2 diabetes and woke up every morning to eat 2 lemon Tastycake pies. He never quit smoking and couldn’t really stand or think well, and wasted his money on eBay cars and trying to flee to different plots of lands around the world.

Anyways, he died just recently at 88 years old.
People forget humans are durable until they aren’t. Medicine makes it easier to hide and get a couple extra years, but unfortunately for all of us his body will hold on till it doesnt anymore.
