water > dino > bird > water, full cycle!
I can so see this bird’s evolution going water-based if given enough time.
as per Wikipedia, that bird (cinclus cinclus) eats insects, not fish
I’m willing to bet that if I were a fish and swam next to it, that motherfucker would try to peck out my eyes and eat them
Idk I’d be terrified as a fish too
So is this is the fish equivalent of Bigfoot? Or like space aliens?
Not to mention their food might be a trap, too, and next thing you know you’re stuck on a line with a barbed hook in your face
Hey, I think Futurama made a documentary about that.
YOU HAVE BEEN INVADED
That’s a great album cover
Those feather are rather water repellent.
Birds are heavier than water??
From the French Wikipedia page, it goes against the current, using its wings, body and tail to force it to the bottom of the river.
Not a witch, then.
Who are you, who are so wise in the ways of science?
It is I, Arthur, King of the Britons!
To be fair this is basically how sharks work for us
…but only in Sharknado.
That one’s more like we climb into their dinner bowl dressed as food and start flapping our limbs around.
Not really since we enter their realm and they give us what for. This is more akin to walking to the local shop for a snack and getting scooped up and carried away by a giant eagle
Speak for yourself! Last time I went for a walk to get a snack at the local shop, I got scooped up by a giant shark and carried back to the water!
Glad you recovered from being eaten alive!
