Happy Friday!! Was off work today and invited my dad and step mum for some dinner. Made wagyu fillet steak with peppercorn sauce for them and stilton for us. Roasted tomato and red onion, onion rings, chips, corn on the cob and hot honey chantenay carrots on the side! Lemon meringue pie for dessert!
No plans for the weekend as the weather isn’t going to be great, so might watch some telly or films!
Ooh, hot honey carrots. I’ve some carrots that need used up, what a great idea! And I used to always be about the peppercorn, but these days for a filet/rib-eye: I let the steak do the talking. Rump still gets the peppercorn though, might have to go for that this week
I love a blue cheese so i just melt some stilton on top of the steak! My carrots were a little too al dente for my liking but they were nice enough!! Hot honey was delish!!
