    so, few facts.

the story is real, the kids were born in 2022. the image is ai slop. the kids actually have same skin color - the woman decided to do the dna testing when they were 8 months (if they were black and white, it would probably became suspicious sooner). she fucked them both on same day, but it probably wasn’t random one night stand from the bar, because she was able to reach both of them for the test. one of them is raising both kids with her.

this is as close to original source as i have found, interviews her attending physician: https://g1.globo.com/go/goias/noticia/2022/09/07/gemeos-de-pais-diferentes-medico-explica-a-superfecundacao-heteroparental.ghtml

    translation: firefox built-in translating tool

The woman bonded with two men on the same day and became pregnant with both. Doctor Túlio Franco explained that fertilizations in different eggs happened in a matter of a few hours between one and the other.
    (…)
The mother of the boys explained that the children are very similar, but that doubts arose regarding the fatherhoods. When they were eight months old, she did the DNA scans with the man she thought was the father. The result was positive only for one child.

She then remade the exams, which confirmed the paternity for a child. “I remembered that I had been related to another man and I called him to take the test, which was positive,” says the mother.
    (…)
According to her mother, the father of one of them took over the two boys and made the records in the registry office. “He takes care of both, helps me a lot to create and gives all the necessary support they need,” he said.

So the partner is now suspected of murdering her. She had 4 kids at the time of death, the first one was older than the twins, conceived when she was 17, the fourth was younger, because three kids were not enough for 20 yo, i guess.

Don’t want to be mean, but this is real trailer park story…

Goiânia – The young Adriellen Barbosa Lima, who became known in 2022 for a rare case of twins from different parents, was killed by her companion last April 20, in Mineiros, in the southwest of Goiás. The suspect in the crime, Joelson Ribeiro da Conceição, 23, presented himself at the police station of the municipality and was arrested on Wednesday (6/5). The young man is investigated for the crime of femicide.

The suspect is detained in the Regional Prison Unit and is due to undergo a custody hearing on Thursday (7/5). The young woman left four children, a 6-year-old, the 4-year-old twins and a baby.

Amusingly I learned about this with one of my dogs. He was significantly bigger than the rest of his litter by a huge margain, when we told the vet about it the guy just said “must have a different dad”. like it was the most common thing on earth.

I have a friend who’s sister had this happen. She hooked up with her bf, got into a fight and left. Hooked up with an old side-piece the next day. I’ve met the kids and they seem fine other than having the most ghetto trio of parents of all time.

This happened on an episode of Maury - my roommate and I were convinced the father was an idiot for claiming one of his twins wasn’t his, and then the paternity test came back and we lost our minds

Even when the father is the father of both fraternal twins, one can still be darker than the other.

I’ve heard a story of fraternal twin sisters with a Jamaican father and an Irish mother. One was black, the other white. So yeah, it’s possible.

But she was the biological mother of both kids, so both kids were half Irish, half Jamaican.

In Greek mythology they have a couple tales of this happening as well, including Zeus was visiting a king’s wife so she got pregnant and had Hercules by him alongside a twin Iphicles from the king Amphityron.
