Sports were invented an curated over time by men who only selected men to learn and play. Given equal opportunity to shape and influence sports culture, women could compete on an even playing field with men.
I fully believe this. Most of the difference is societal. Men DO have a strength, height and weight advantage, but its not as extreme as people think, and those three qualities don’t automatically make someone the best option for a sport. This is especially true and apparent in things like e-sports where men have ZERO inherent advantage, but overwhelming societal advantage to be better.
When looking back through time, even our neanderthal relatives believed this. Their societies were egalitarian. Women hunted. Men raised babies. Men foraged alongside women. Everyone was included.
It’s theorized that when the plow became the object we used for a lot of our agrarian needs that gender roles started appearing. The plow took a lot of upper body strength, which men had more of, and that left women sorta without a job, so they ended up minding the home and children more often. Not to say women couldn’t handle the plow, it was just harder.
Less than a hill I’d die in, and more of a privately held belief: women are, generally speaking, better than men at most things (some exceptions exist). It’s not that there aren’t smart/great men out there. I just think their female peers tend to do a better job.
The best kitchen crew I ever ran was all women, with the sole man being the absolute worst employee I ever had - who quit because he didn’t like working with women. He probably just heard I wanted to fire him and got out the door before I could.
I don’t think women are innately better, but they have learned to work harder and better to avoid disproportionate scrutiny and critcism compared to their male peers.
Misandry doesn’t exist.

It doesn’t exist the way misogyny does.
Women as a group owe nothing to men as a group.
Period.
We do not owe men a smile. We do not owe men “looking our best”. We do not owe men emotional support. We do not owe men attention. We do not owe men conversation. We do not owe men sex.
We can grant these to men of our choosing. None of them are owed.
Exactly. They get basic human decency like everyone, until they show that they don’t deserve it. And everything else is granted on a case by case basis.
