Forgot to mention it earlier, but there’s some happy news. The first purple magnolias have started to bloom along Brunswick Street, and the pear trees outside St Pats Cathedral likewise. The Devil’s Candlestick outside the Houses of Parliament are also starting to bloom. Spring is just around the corner.
A few flowering plants in my garden have started too, seems at least a few weeks early this year. It’s nice to see the flowers but feel
sorry for the climate change.

I felt my nostrils closing up this morning. Looking forward to opening the windows and doors for some fresh air though. You win some, you lose some.
