Positing large excerpts barely related to the current conversation does not an intellectual make. And thinking I support trump in the slightest shows your own anti-intellectualism and lack of curiosity

Again what is you prescription for the probblem, simply stating ‘people need to get of apps and start listening to Dr Lee and her ‘27 leaders’’ is not a solution, what is your solution to achieve this result?

barely related to the current conversation

      There you go. Mocking.

Nothing stops the mockery. The anti-book on paper mockery that is Trumpism.

What the IRA started in year 2013 is in runaway. Russia can’t stop it. Nothing can stop it. It’s probably already too late. The addiction to entertainment and detachment from humanism is already wrecking all goodness long-term.

(We The) People can no longer read 1995 book and connect that it is directly related to USA national mass mind in year 2025. You are only here to mock away goodness, that’s your agenda and your outcome. And nothing has been able to break the feedback looping of total mockery. Shit-posting is the mindset everyone craves. It’s been non-stop shit-posting growth since July 6, 2011. The Apple iPhone screen size (The Medium) is the meme message of minds.

Your mocking won the wrecking of the world before I ever created a single message on Lemmy. Vince Gilligan in February 2025 at the Writers Guild of America spelled it out: Social media cesspool. Shit-posting shit-commenting always wins. Mocking and mockery, total mockery wins any debate (hence, Trump wins any challenge, Rupert Murdoch wins any adult education, Joe Rogan wins, mockery wins). Carl Sagan book printed in year 1995, Neil Postman books, Dr. Bandy X Lee’s books, always rejected.

      10:48
there’s no simple answer for how we might change that. Though, if there were, I bet it would have something to do with climbing up out of the cesspool that is social media and actually listening to each other.

      11:07
But I don’t know how to make that happen. So, I’ll stick to my wheelhouse. As a writer speaking to a room full of writers, I have a proposal…

It not mocking its a fact, gish galloping with page long expects that may have a sentence or two related is not an effective tactic if your actual trying to convert me to your cause and not just intellectually masturbating. If you aren’t anti-intellectual you can take the time to extract the relevant points and present them cogently

What the IRA started in year 2013 is in runaway. Russia can’t stop it. Nothing can stop it. It’s probably already too late. The addiction to entertainment and detachment from humanism is already wrecking all goodness long-term.

Again you seem to place the blame entirely on Russia and discount the effect of the US’s equivalent of the IRA: Eglin AFB and its effect on the population, and other western backed project such as Cambridge Analytica

        Social media cesspool.

So you’ve somewhat correctly disorganised the problem as big tech(if not capitalism as a whole) the only counter to big tech is socialist organisation a real concrete action you can take instead of just hoping people will magically begin following the ‘27 leaders’ which is just wish-casting on your part, the system cannot be reformed it needed to be smashed and a new bottom-up power structure put in place

It not mocking its a fact, gish galloping

You could have independently located Dr. Bandy X. Lee’s nonfiction serious book printed on paper at book stores and public library. That isn’t “Gish galloping” in Lemmy commenting, that’s your inability to escape the simulation (off-screen to a book printed on paper sitting on physical book shelves). You have had YEARS to take seriously Donald Trump’s mental disorders and observe the avoidance of nonfiction books (relevant books) on paper. Years of being able to observe that the population (everyone) is avoiding getting on the same page at the same time (Dr. Lee’s book pages).

You fixate on me, as you are here (active measures or useful banality agent) to mock my message and drive me away from calling out that The Emperor has no clothes, and We The People are not calling out that the Emperor has no clothes. We are in feedback looping of tree after tree (streaming memes, recency bias) with no forest-level self-awareness. We have no perspective at the level of Marshall McLuhan or Neil Postman.

People do not desire authentic progress and goodness, We The People endlessly desire laughs and memes, amusement and joking about Donald Trump’s mental disorders. That’s what wrecked the USA and next the total world. Endlessly joking about an 80 year old man who stands in all media system spotlights. Endlessly laughing at Donald Trump addictions to media. Infinite Jest: attraction to Trump LOL cow milking.

Why do you keep ignoring my direct questions?

              1. “Forest for the trees” I’ve referenced multiple times

              2. The Big Picture. Everyone. “We The People” multiple times.

              3. You are a banality agent, active measures. Here to drive me away from posting in public about THE PUBLIC.

              • “We do not know whether Hitler is going to found a new Islam. (He is already on the way; he is like Mohammed. The emotion in Germany is Islamic; warlike and Islamic. They are all drunk with a wild god.)” - Carl Jung

              • “No nation keeps its word. A nation is a big, blind worm, following what? Fate perhaps. A nation has no honour, it has no word to keep. … Hitler is himself the nation. That incidentally is why Hitler always has to talk so loud, even in private conversation — because he is speaking with 78 million voices.” - Carl Jung. During an interview with H. R. Knickerbocker (1939)

                • In Donald Trump’s case, “meme so loud”. His spoken voice isn’t really that loud like Hitler. But Trump’s meme voice is dominating and role model.

              points we’ve already agreed on

Show me where you posted Dr. Bandy X Lee and quoted her on social media. As you sound like a Trump Fan who thinks LOL LOL LOL laughing at disturbed mental people is amusing to you.

“Forest for the trees” I’ve referenced multiple times

You’re not answering my questions because you think that would be ‘missing the firest for the trees’ can you explain how? without further explanation this is an incongruous statement that seems like pure defelection

Show me where you posted Dr. Bandy X Lee and quoted her on social media. As you sound like a Trump Fan who thinks LOL LOL LOL laughing at disturbed mental people is amusing to you.

I don’t agree with Dr Lee who believes the US can be reformed by removing a single dangerous leader. Trump is not the root of the problem he is a symptom of the US system which can not be reformed, socialist revolution is the only solution,

I’ve posted many times deriding Trump, some quotes from my previous comments of me saying that:

                you:

Donald Trump is easily influenced and gullible. He believes fiction storytelling put out by the Kremlin

                me:

True but he also believes the last person he spoke to not just Putin exclusively, he believes the fiction put out by the UAF and his own government

quotes anything I’ve posted that would lead you to believe I’m a ‘trump worshipper’

You avoiding my questions with deflection is engaging in anti-intellectualism, you aren’t less guilty of it than the average poster because you pad out your posts with repetitive and barely tangential information

you pad out your posts with repetitive and barely tangential information

To your egoism, it is irrelevant. You live in filter-bubbles. I’ve also brought up “active measures” a couple times here in this thread. It is entirely possible you are here mocking into the total mockery and not sincere in any way. That you do understand the relevance of these quotes and your entire screen game is active measures.

Same Page at the Same Time

“The term filter bubble was coined by internet activist Eli Pariser circa 2010. Pariser’s book The Filter Bubble (2011) predicted that individualized personalization by algorithmic filtering would lead to intellectual isolation and social fragmentation” - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filter_bubble

                  • “The phenomenon we have witnessed in Germany was nothing less than outbreak of epidemic insanity… No one knew what was happening to him, least of all of the Germans, who allowed themselves to be driven to the slaughterhouse by their leading psychopaths like hypnotized sheep.” - Dr. Carl Jung, After the Catastrophe, 1945

                  Filter-bubble Germany 1933.

                  • “The other nine, decent, hard-working, ordinarily intelligent and honest men, did not know before 1933 that Nazism was evil. They did not know between 1933 and 1945 that it was evil. And they do not know it now. None of them ever knew, or now knows, Nazism as we knew and know it; and they lived under it, served it, and, indeed, made it.” ― Milton Sanford Mayer, They Thought They Were Free: The Germans, 1933-45. Published year 1955.

Meme app users always avoid: Same Page at the Same Time of SERIOUS IMPORTANT NONFICTION reality. People get on the same page all the time for sports celebrity, GTA6 video game release, entertainment, amusements. But not nonfiction reality.

You live in a filter bubble: you believe Russia uses active measures to manipulate public opinion, it does. But you are ignoring the active measures the also US employs to manipulate people away from the socialist organisation which is the only thing that can defeat the ruling class control and anti-intellectualism in both countries and others

Show me where IN PUBLIC YOU STAND UP - you are quoting Marshall McLuhan, Neil Postman, Carl Sagan, Andrew Postman, Peter Pomerantsev, Dr. Bandy X Lee, Dr. Eva Berger… related to MAGA / Trumpism / Rupert Murdoch / Putinism / Surkov students media patterns. Your ability to match well-written though-out widely published ideas to the anti-reality crisis of year 2026.

It is your lack of alarm at the forest-level bonfires of nonfiction books printed on paper that spells it all out. You are here to drag it all down into tree tree tree and avoid the forest. Superficial, banalize it, mock it.

this is an incongruous statement that seems like pure defelection

I am deflecting to what? Printed books on paper by Carl Sagan, printed books on paper by Neil Postman, printed books on paper by Dr. Bandy X Lee and her 27 leaders.

You want my personal words to discuss trees of commenting, threads of trees of messages. I am very clear that my focus is on the NATO, USA, Pale Blue Dot, the entire planet, media ecology of nonfiction books vs. meme apps. The World Wide Web and how cults of decorations on messages, “meme decorations”, are a danger. The Meme Decoration is The Message. https://www.themediumisthemassage.com/the-book/

TLDR: ELI4; Lemmy meme-washing is the problem. Reddit is the center of the cult of Trump mockery. Joke-wrapping joke-washing of Trump for mental health memes and jokes is the crisis of August 2026.

                    You’re deflecting answering direct questions

You are feeding into the trump-meme-complex with your gish galloping posts instead of engaging with things that can actual oppose the system he’s a symptom off(big tech, anti-itelleculism)
