Always avoiding science of Dr. Bandy X Lee’s 27 leaders since year 2017 in favor of laughing at Donald Trump’s mental problems, LOL LOL LOL meme society.

“Science is more than a body of knowledge; it is a way of thinking. I have a (year 1995) foreboding of an America in my children’s or grandchildren’s time — when the United States is a service and information economy; when nearly all the key manufacturing industries have slipped away to other countries; when awesome technological powers are in the hands of a very few, and no one representing the public interest can even grasp the issues; when the people have lost the ability to set their own agendas or knowledgeably question those in authority; when, clutching our crystals and nervously consulting our horoscopes, our critical faculties in decline, unable to distinguish between what feels good and what’s true, we slide, almost without noticing, back into superstition and darkness. The dumbing down of America is most evident in the slow decay of substantive content in the enormously influential media, the 30-second sound bites (now down to 10 seconds or less), lowest common denominator programming, credulous presentations on pseudoscience and superstition, but especially a kind of celebration of ignorance. What does that article about Putin from 2013 have to do with Trump or the Ukraine war?

it’s really hard to know where to begin on such a simple one-line question. There are so many low-information upvoters and voters. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Low_information_voter There are so many possibilities of what you do not comprehend or understand. Let me try to get some baseline here:

      1. Do you know of Trump and Putin meeting in Alaska August 15, 2025 - their long-standing mutual admiration? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2025_Russia–United_States_summit

      2. I mentioned several times in my comment the private jet flight on November 8, 2013 - which comes before the “that article about Putin from 2013” - have you studied the flight records and owner of the private jet?

      3. Timing. November 8, 2013 weekend Trump goes to Moscow. December 2013, the linked article discusses new International movement and “Call to power” all across the world. February 20, 2014 is when the Ukraine hot war started. After the softening up (of minds on WWW) by the Internet Research Agency almost all of year 2013.

      4. The December 20, 2013 article starts “Vladimir Putin is calling on the conservatives of the world to unite — behind him.” - Do you understand that Donald Trump is a world leader conservative?

      5. Are you familiar with the Internet Research Agency revelations https://www.facebook.com/konstantin.rykov/posts/10210621124674610 by Константин Рыков from November 12, 2016? “Настало время замечательных историй. Расскажу вам о том (теперь уже можно), как мы с Дональдом Трампом приняли решение освободить Америку и сделать её снова великой. На это нам понадобилось целых 4 года и ещё 2 дня. Всё началось ночью с 6 на 7 ноября 2012 года.”; “Дальше оставалось только загрузить эти данные в информационные потоки и социальные сети.”

Or is it some other comprehension issues? Again, I am not sure where to begin on such a complex issue and topic.

That article is an opinion piece not real journalistic reporting, Don’t you think if Donald Trump was uniting behind Putin he’d be supplying him with billions in arms, instead of giving billions in arms and other aid and being the main supporter of his adversary Ukraine?

Damn, yeah I’m wasting time they’re completly BlueQ-Consumed

What the hell is “Blue-q”? Some fiction fantasy shit you read on Lemmy and Reddit? Musk Twitter?

I am pro-science, pro-reality. What the hell is “BlueQ”?

“One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back. So the old bamboozles tend to persist as the new ones rise.” ― Carl Sagan, The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark, 1995, page 241.

                What the hell is “BlueQ”?

People who believe in Qanon conspiracies with a liberal bent, such as Russiagate i.e. despite all the evidence to the contrary such as Trump supporting Ukraine militarily against Russia, they still insist the ‘Agent Krasnov’, Steele Dossier bullshit is real

Agreed, once you defer your critical thinking to western billionaires and their owned ‘journalistic’ outlets(the same that insisted that the Curveball evidence Saddam had WMDs were true, when it was clearly false e.g. whole passaged of it were lifted from the script for the rock(1996)), you’ve given Western billionaire charlatans power over your thinking instead of applying critical thinking to ever piece of media you consume no matter the source

People who believe in Qanon conspiracies with a liberal bent

QAnon is fantasy fiction mythology. It is not fact-based science. It appeals to meme cultists who are attracted to Spiderman, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and other fiction addictions. Cult addicts to fiction. Who adore Truth Social Donald Trump because he is a fiction fantasy storyteller. Anti-science anti-reality.

                  Left vs. Right

I do not support all the mindsets of 1-bit binary bi-polar thinking of “left vs. right”. The terms “right-wing” and “left-wing” originated in France during the French Revolution in 1789. King of France: Right-wing Bible Jesus fiction fantasy storytelling of God from the Levant year 1789.

The real concern is fiction vs. nonfiction. Fox News HDTV is fiction. Reddit cult is fiction addicts. Twitter cult is Elon Musk fiction addicts. Etc. Truth Social is fiction fantasy media. MAGA church fiction fantasy leadership. Israel Torah fiction fantasy leadership.

          Conspiracy theory

Yes, people who avoid serious nonfiction books and get all their information off meme sites like Reddit, Bluesky, Twitter, Truth Social. People who trust information based on the Sponge Bob meme decorations. Gullible app users who think Fox New, Rupert Murdoch, is sincere and honest.

“Conspiracy theories have long been used to maintain power: the Soviet leadership saw capitalist and counter-revolutionary conspiracies everywhere; the Nazis, Jewish ones. But those conspiracies were ultimately there to buttress an ideology, whether class warfare for Communists or race for Nazis. With today’s regimes, which struggle to formulate a single ideology – indeed, which can’t if they want to maintain power by sending different messages to different people – the idea that one lives in a world full of conspiracies becomes the world view itself. Conspiracy does not support the ideology; it replaces it. In Russia this is captured in the catchphrase of the country’s most important current affairs presenter: ‘A coincidence? I don’t think so!’ says Dmitry Kiselev as he twirls between tall tales that dip into history, literature, oil prices and colour revolutions, which all return to the theme of how the world has it in for Russia.

And as a world view it grants those who subscribe to it certain pleasures: if all the world is a conspiracy, then your own failures are no longer all your fault. The fact that you achieved less than you hoped for, that your life is a mess – it’s all the fault of the conspiracy.

More importantly, conspiracy is a way to maintain control. In a world where even the most authoritarian regimes struggle to impose censorship, one has to surround audiences with so much cynicism about anybody’s motives, persuade them that behind every seemingly benign motivation is a nefarious, if impossible-to-prove, plot, that they lose faith in the possibility of an alternative, a tactic a renowned Russian media analyst called Vasily Gatov calls ‘white jamming’.

And the end effect of this endless pile-up of conspiracies is that you, the little guy, can never change anything. For if you are living in a world where shadowy forces control everything, then what possible chance do you have of turning it around? In this murk it becomes best to rely on a strong hand to guide you.

‘Trump is our last chance to save America,’ is the message of his media hounds. Only Putin can ‘raise Russia from its knees’. ‘The problem we are facing today is less oppression, more lack of identity, apathy, division, no trust,’ sighs Srdja. ‘There are more tools to change things than before, but there’s less will to do so.” ― Peter Pomerantsev, This Is Not Propaganda: Adventures in the War Against Reality. Book, published year 2019
