I’m sure you’re joking but I do recommend reading Tragedy of the Commons, it’s just a few pages long. Amongst other things, it talks about how regulations need to be applied everywhere for them to be effective.
That’s all nice in a socioeconomic, or even philosophical, debate, but <gestures broadly at everything> nobody cares. We are like a locust-plague and we will end like one.
Why blame China? They do this so you guys can have crappy stuff that won’t last because your country makes you too poor to buy local 😉
