minus-squareTheFailedNinja@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkarrow-up3·27 days agoThe supplements work great. Get the 10000 vit D and take it daily. Don’t bother with the lower ones.
minus-squareStudSpud The Starchy@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·27 days agoLovely thank you!
minus-squareSaneMartigan@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkarrow-up3·27 days agoOh an look for Vitamin D with vitamin K supplemented, it helps with absorption. eg, https://au.iherb.com/pr/california-gold-nutrition-vitamin-d3-k2-as-mk-7-180-veggie-capsules/124745
minus-squareSaneMartigan@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkarrow-up3·27 days agoFWIW I’ve been taking the 5000 IU vitamin D for a few years now and I’m still at the lower end of the acceptable range on my blood tests so don’t fear the high does recommendation. Vitamin D is cheap too, I use iHerb.
minus-squareMert@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkarrow-up1·27 days agoExactly. The supposed multivitamin tablets have about everything in them but not enough dosage to be useful.

FWIW I’ve been taking the 5000 IU vitamin D for a few years now and I’m still at the lower end of the acceptable range on my blood tests so don’t fear the high does recommendation. Vitamin D is cheap too, I use iHerb.
