Two out of three of the big work projects kicking my arse for twelve months have been delivered!! One on Tues and one today. There’ll be a review and presso but all the heavy lifting is done. Project 3 needs some final lovin’ but will be all but done next week. Don’t want to talk about what they are but they are good stuff and will result in good information out there that wasn’t before. So proud of my little group of nerds.
Can’t wait for some rest and digest. Next six months all about getting unkaosed and strong again 💪🏻

I tried it so you don’t have to #1: Against my better judgement I bought the Betty Crocker violet crumble brownie mix to try. It barely made enough mixture to cover the cake tin size it said to use and made the flattest most lame arse brownie that disgraced my shabby kitchen with it’s pancake presence. The kids said it was… ok, tasty enough but we’ve definitely made better. One star, do not bother with this waste of money.

Weird shit happening to computers here in Richmond too. Much much much slower than usual - and ASIC’s computer has been dropping in and out unpredictably all day too. They’ve scheduled an all day outage for all of tomorrow for bits of it. Yep, 5 pm today to 5 pm tomorrow. In the lead up to the EOFY. The less said about the State Revenue Office’s computers the better at the best of times, but today has been particularly awful. Our systems are all good to go and we’ve done triple checks on all processing protocols - for once the problem is NOT our systems. At lunchtime I noticed the pay stations in the Coles at Richmond Traders were ALSO having dropouts and delays.
Had a fun dream involving a family dinner with Toni Collette’s family that was going well until Toni Collette decided she hated me. I mean, I’ve never been her biggest fan, but wow.
Haha! The other day was a Lego dewback with a hatch so it could poop crystals. PS, all the new Lego Pokemon are ugly as Fuck. Not bothering.

So I had a look at the Lego Pokemon. It just doesn’t even look like Lego anymore.
Cubone and the $999 Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise set are the only ones that look any decent. That flat face on the rest is… a choice. Geodude is the only one is even remotely suits. Pikachu is wild. The fuck is this thing. Giving major “we have Jigglypuff at home” vibes:

Sort of lol I’m usually sitting outside when I do it, so as to not overwhelm the apartment with the smell. I just play mobile games while they dry (brotato and slice and dice mainly). I do the T-Rex thing when sunlight hits my balcony and I’ll rush over to put my nails in it haha

We’re going into the city this Saturday for a market and it will be my job to keep the kids busy. My girlfriend is sending me all this stuff we could do but I’ve just remembered; they’re 3, they’d be happy with riding the train or the trams around the city
City days with the family were (and still are) some of my favourite memories.
Kids love it. Buy them some snacks and a cheap toy and they’ll be in heaven.
They’re a bit stressful with twins but they have a great time at least
the big diesels at spencer street are so cool, there is the old city loop tram, the new metro trains are awesome
the kids will have a great time 🙂
That’s it, there’s also a donut festival at Queen Vic market. We could have lunch then catch the tram up there
If the kids get antsy and need a playground break, there’s a fantastic playground at Lincoln Square just down from the market
We can visit that too. They’d have fun running around the market but constraining them to a park will be much less stressful
