Thats quite the logical leap. As far as I can see none of the examples tackled issues that were actually a threat to the existing system. Waiting on them would most likely saved more people from hurt / death than just doing the FAFO approach.

Probably by just taking some time (and yes I am talking in the time frame of years) for testing, evaluation and centering humans & earths needs when deciding on how to go forward. Very few innovations tackle so pressing problems, that they have to get mass adopted asap.

If you cant or dont want to see the reoccurring elements of the listed problems, then we probably cant find a common ground in this.

So all those problems are fixed but somehow new ones keep popping up? Maybe it wasnt real change but actually just band aids and the root cause stayed unadressed through all those years.

Edit: Since most discussion still focuses on voting, here are some ideas you could do instead / additionally:

• (general) strike / walk outs
• riots
• do what the yellow vests in France did and shut down the economy by blockading important logistical routes
• get inspired by indigenious resistance and shut down the US like they did with Canada by shutting down key freight train routes
• squat public spaces like was down in occupy wall street
• do property destruction of republican infrastructure
• take university campus like it was done during free palestine protests
• show solidarity with those imprisoned now and those that will be in the future

But twitter is a nazi platform and there are valid alternatives available.

Alao participation in capitalism might be necessary to survive, posting on Twitter isnt.

Idk about that. Signal is the main alternative to WA in some parts of europe.

Matrix results in way more meta data and through federation those meta data could be stored jn way more places.

Besides their main developer (element messenger) are cop / military boot lickers.

Those are some examples for why you might not use it, but depending on you use case you might still prefer it over signal.

Especially after Telegtam started working with authorities and handing out user / chat info.

From my experience with that: Telegram restored all unecrypted chats when I swapped phones without asking me for any passwort / key. I literally just confirmed my phone number and all my chats / groups / contacts appeared.
