in my state if it rings up higher you get one item free up to $20. for each diff item. during covid when TP was restocked I got a TON free because they kept stuffing the overstock onto the shelves without paying attention.

my neighbors are refugees from ukraine. while personally they are douchebags whose love of small engines and car repair means the alley between our house (my bedroom) and their apartment contains a tire machine, air compressor, and eight snow blowers… two motorcycles on the porch and four cars in a 2 car driveway… I worry they’ll get booted back to ukraine and war if trumps nonsense pulls the rug from under them.
