And it’s a huge financial risk letting someone live in your biggest investment
Hmm, I think this single line from the article says all you need to know about this landlord

I’m in Ontario myself and it’s mind-boggling but it’s partially because his voters stick any negatives on the federal Liberal party and any positives on Ford. Ford has been completely gutting our provincial public healthcare system but a Conservative upset about hospitals shutting down or whatever will just direct all that anger towards Mark Carney (or non-white immigrants…)

If I were to make an educated guess then I’d say yes he was probably chartering private jets all the time. Ford is such a POS and I hate my province for repeatedly electing him (by way of voting for or not voting at all)

What the hell would mouse movements even be useful for outside of things already better achieved by frameworks like Playwright? Are they planning to let AIs control desktop peripheral input? For it to be useful you’d need the AI to have full screen visibility and if you have that, why not just script the mouse movement to where you want it to go?

A vast majority of Canadians live in the Windsor-Quebec City coridor. With high quality and affordable HSR, I could travel from my home in Ottawa to any city inbetween for a show, job, whatever and be able to sleep in my own bed that night. Maybe you actually enjoy driving 6-10 hours to the nearest other city but I can assure you that most of Canada would prefer to take a 1-2 hour long train ride where you can sit back and turn your brain off instead of staring at the bumper of the person ahead of you for hours
And Canada is a massive country, yeah, but where does our population mainly live? If you just focus on our main population centres then it’s easy to connect us all. Nobody’s asking for a rail link to far northern Nunavut.
NOT TO MENTION the fact that we managed to connect the entirety of Canada by rail a century ago with far less advanced technology

Our Liberal party is only marginally better than the American Democrats and I’m pretty sure they’re just as bought and paid for by Israel. Carney, our PM and the leader of the Liberals acknowledged during his leadership race that there’s a genocide happening against Palestinians but retracted what he said a few days later. “I didn’t hear the word genocide”.
The LPC like to make semi progressive statements but then act like conservatives. We just got a new leader for the NDP though (New Democratic Party, our left wing) and I’m really hoping they can gain some more ground and change things

People are downvoting but that’s still pretty funny even if you hate AI. Like, come on, its really funny that rickrolling has been widespread for so many years that the training data made the LLM spit out that exact YouTube link

I think I’ll just take up farming or wood working if the CS field is reduced to just doing PR reviews for AI
I really can’t remember an era where the term hack wasn’t used incorrectly but this case seems a lot more fitting than usual
I’ve seen coding used since like the late aughts and that’s just because I started getting into programming around that time

Yeah, like where else would the LLMs pick it up?
“It’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment” - Charlie Kirk (2023)

I just wish it wasn’t all American politics. Like American politics is just shoved into evert random niche community even if its not even remotely relevant
I stumbled onto her real name and can say that she’s alive and the gore pictures were fake (I was bored and a bit drunk)

I really hate living in Ontario sometimes… it really seems like we should be better than this
I’ve never watched him (I hated him when he would just scream at video games) but he seems to be a lot more mature these days. He even posted a video on why you should switch to Linux recently

I’ve already seen (USian) conservatives claiming that

It’s totally a technicality but we share a land border with Denmark via Greenland. It’s literally just a rock cut in half in the middle of the Arctic but it counts! (Hans Island)
You can actually run simple purpose-built models with very little RAM. I self host immich in a 4GB proxmox VM and it’s able to run its built in image subject recognition AI model without even breaking 50% of that 4GB of RAM
