For clarity, I’m talking about this part:

It looks so much more complex to me, color-wise, than just black sharpie!
[…] Good job!
Thank you!
[…] very nice work
Thank you!
I can see it!:

How’d you accomplish the color/texture on the floating gem(?)? It looks so cool. It looks like it has so much depth, and the shading is exquisite.
[…] Nice work!
Thank you!
It’s really interesting that you mention that! While it wasn’t the inspiration, nor did it dictate the conscious artistic direction of the drawing, I did notice these characters swimming around in the back of my mind at some points when making it:

I think that’s very kind of you to say :) Thank you very much!
[…] I kinda want to fight them?
They will not fight back.
Dope!!! […]
Thank you!
I’ve heard mention of that movie [1] a number of times now; I really should watch it.

2·6 days agoMy main server runs Ubuntu Server (I’m thinking about switching it to Debian), and my laptop and desktop both run Arch Linux. Generally, I pick whatever I think is best for the given usecase — things like stability, package availability, documentation, security, etc. are considered.
Yes. I started with QWERTY, then I moved to Dvorak, then I moved to Colemak, and then I finally settled on Workman [1].

For clarity, does that mean that the floating gem thing is really as black as its shadow?
