I take it your comment as meaning “of course people with chronic pain and lower mobility would feel depressed about it”. But what about the possibility that depression is inflammation of the brain? This would change how depression should be treated.
I used to wake up with really stiff joints. Recently started getting. Rashes. I casually took a zirktek because my wife uses that for rashes. My rash went away the next day instead of the usual weeks. That’s when I realized that I probably have some sort of autoimmune disease going on that causes allergies, my hemorrhoids, heartburn and the random rashes. It’s not great. I can manage now, but if it gets worse? A rash on the eyeballs? Yeah this is pretty bad. Worse is that if I bring it up to the doctor I know my insurance is going to fuck me over.
