US tech companies do what they like and deal with the consequences later, paying some token fine or settlement. Uber was really blatant about it. They all despise labor laws and avoid taxes. I don’t understand why people support them with money and usage. I miss local retail and people being present in their lives instead of stuck in front of an idiot mirror.
