i was thinking native american genocide and slavery, but yea…there’s a lot of shameful bullshit in our history. which makes me want to add (so i will), the GOP is desperately trying to eradicate these events from our history education, while simultaneously accusing people of “trying to erase our history” by removing confederate statues. it’s absolutely fucking mind-boggling. and racist bigoted nazi inbred hick maga voters lap it up like hogs at the trough

it’s hard to imagine living life being so fucking gullible

The list is so long. I picked the nukes because they tested the nukes, they knew what they would do. They chose not to bomb Tokyo because they needed someone left alive to surrender. They did it…twice. Almost completely consisting of civilian casualties.

Most of my fellow Americans do not carry shame for it. I do.

and every generation fewer people really get more than a paragraph in history class about japanese americans who had nothing to do with anything, but were tossed into internment camps.

now, it’s anyone who’s not 100% white, citizen or not, criminal history or not-- ICE can fucking murder you and face zero consequences. what progress we’ve made…
