About that laptop, I’ve had a HTPC for many years, and I’ve used Fedora for most of them. Eventually, I got tired of the frequent updates and the fact that the update GUI stopped working. I kept on updating through the terminal for many years, but I got tired of that as well. Nowadays, it’s running Debian, and I haven’t noticed any downsides so far. I think it’s a good distro for media consumption.
Sweet! I remeber using pure Debian in a Raspberry Pi a few years back. Worked flawlessly. I’ll keep it in mind!
It’s pretty good as long as you don’t absolutely require the latest versions of everything. If an older version gets the job done and frequent updates annoy you, look no further.

That would not be appropriate for this community as it is the opposite of dull. But a quick search shows it’s an app called “AFWall+” which is a firewall app
Good keyboard. This hybrid setup of sitting at a desktop to use a tablet in this way for one handed typing on a keyboard seems like insanity to me… But you do you. Hope the crisps are good.
There are tissues next to me with which I admittedly wipe my fingers and then type with both hands. 🫣
