I initially misread “soul” as “snout” and I like “snout” just as much.

It saddens me that having a pet is too expensive for me. I’m a woman who lives alone, I would love to have a companion animal. A dog to accompany me on walks would be fantastic. But I know how much it costs over time - I simply don’t have the means for it. :(
Just the reminder that you have to get up and take them outside every day is sometimes the life saver, even if it doesn’t feel like it at the time.

You can take you cats out for walks, lots of them like it. But yes I am talking personally about my dog saving my life.
Cats need you to dangle a little feather in front of them and play tug, carry them up and down stairs when they’re feeling lazy, and even pop them into pet-friendly backpacks so they can enjoy some fresh air with you. Cats enjoy watching you do yoga and occasionally participate.
Cats may even need you to climb a tree or a fence to help get them down. Or to lift a couch because they’ve gotten themselves stuck behind it.
I have trained all of my cats to let me carry them up and down stairs. Even the stray that showed up at my back door a couple years ago.
Or much more likely, they have all been part of a psyop to make me into a cat taxi. And it worked!
I nearly trip over them half a dozen times a day but I wouldn’t have it any other way 💜
