This has been going on long before Trump and is a symptom of wider issues in the economy. Vegas resorts are charging an arm and a leg while nickle and dimeing tourists every step of the way. I saw a breakdown from Bright Sun Films where a weekend trip to the Paris Resort and Casino (not including flights) cost more than a weeklong trip to the actual Paris, flights included. The prices have soared to cater to the wealthy, while the quality has gone down. But I don’t get why someone who can afford a $50,000 Vegas trip would go ther instead of a luxury gambling location like Monaco or Macao.

This is year 2026, USA people want simulations, not reality. That’s why we have fantasy mythology storyteller Donald Trump as leader that entertains people into LOL LOL LMAO constantly. Trump comes from casino entertainment side, not concerned about profits nearly as much as capturing hearts and minds. (The cage fight at White House a couple months ago loss money, https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/ufc-white-house-event-lost-220452457.html but it sure created lots of hearts and minds to LOL LOL LOL at Trump the entertainer. Hate-watching cult fandoms.).

cost more than a weeklong trip to the actual Paris

Since USA is now all MAGA values, many people go into shock to visit the actual Paris, France. Reality is just not as entertaining as the anti-reality USA culture year 2026.

        • “Paris syndrome (in Japanese: パリ症候群) is a sense of extreme disappointment exhibited by many individuals when visiting Paris, who feel that the city does not live up to their expectations. The condition is commonly viewed as a severe form of culture shock.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paris_syndrome

The Reddit simulation of anti-Trump and the Twitter pro-Trump worship is so much more thrilling to modern smartphone users. Any time day or night Truth Social stimulates the simulations into commenting activity. The biggest bamboozle in all human history, a total abandonment of real every hour of every day. Such a complex sophisticated mess!

        • "Their behaviour is all simulatable. Another similar… and this going to sound cynical, but I don’t want it to. I mean, ah, Baudrillard has visited our country and when he went to Disneyland in Epcot Centre and these various parks, he said “Well this is much better than Europe. The food’s better than Europe. It’s a short walk between France and Germany-land” … “Ah, you know, you don’t have to… deal with all those nasty waiters, everyone is so polite”. The simulation has outrun the so-called reality. That concept in Baudrillard he calls the “hyperreal”. Hyperreality is more real than real. This is… it actually sounds… if some of this sounds like advertising slogans: good. Because in Baudrillard the heritage of philosophy and social theory has passed over into advertising and television. So if it sounds superficial: good, because the theory, the world that he looks at has become superficial and banal. If it sounds hokey like a salesman’s pitch: good. The world he describes is the world of Jurassic Park, not of Dante. " https://rickroderick.org/308-baudrillard-fatal-strategies-1993/

SEE ALSO: The last thing people want to face in USA is sober reality of Dr. Bandy X Lee’s 27 leaders since year 2017. The show must go on! Nobody wants to face up to Donald Trump mental disorders with smart leaders. Everyone is drunk on memes and drunk on Trump’s power tripping. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bandy_X._Lee Technology fantasy on home media devices is Trumpism.

So many elect clowns, so many We The People are attracted to clowns. Constantly amused population who desires fantasy fiction storytelling leaders. Endless jokes and memes, LOLcow milking society.

“For all his perspicacity, George Orwell would have been stymied by this situation; there is nothing “Orwellian” about it. The President does not have the press under his thumb. The New York Times and The Washington Post are not Pravda; the Associated Press is not Tass. And there is no Newspeak here. Lies have not been defined as truth nor truth as lies. All that has happened is that the public has adjusted to incoherence and been amused into indifference. Which is why Aldous Huxley would not in the least be surprised by the story. Indeed, he prophesied its coming. He believed that it is far more likely that the Western democracies will dance and dream themselves into oblivion than march into it, single file and manacled. Huxley grasped, as Orwell did not, that it is not necessary to conceal anything from a public insensible to contradiction and narcoticized by technological diversions. Although Huxley did not specify that television would be our main line to the drug, he would have no difficulty accepting Robert MacNeil’s observation that “Television is the soma of Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World.” Big Brother turns out to be Howdy Doody.” ― Neil Postman, Amusing Ourselves to Death: Public Discourse in the Age of Show Business, year 1985, page 111

      • “Howdy Doody is an American children’s television program (with circus and Western frontier themes) that was created and produced by Victor F. Campbell and E. Roger Muir. It was broadcast on the NBC television network in the United States from December 27, 1947, until September 24, 1960.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Howdy_Doody
