One of the problems with the flying wing design is how long it takes to get out in an emergency. There are in between designs that also have the same issue so we have stuck with the tube for a long time.

So, assuming 2 passengers per cabin, that’s about 36 passengers, or 4 passengers per engine. Or, with 5 crew, that’s about 7 passengers per crew member. If there’s a flight attendant in there somewhere, that’s 6 passengers per crew member.

Basically, an absurdly expensive way of travelling. I doubt they were serious about it.

Dunno if I’d rather have a flying wing passenger plane, or the return of the concorde.
