Cmon now. You put a publically advertised forum that gets displayed everywhere and then you gatekeep people based on their perceived gender. There’s no way for you to check their gender and let’s face it, people are not going to read the rules of every forum they visit, especially for Lemmy. You’re being unfair and if you can’t see that, then there’s no hope for you.
In fact most Lemmy instances have a pretty bog standard terms of service/community rules/whatever that specifically say this, yes. That not only must they abide by the rules of their instance but that they must also abide by the rules of the group.
But this concern troll (who is certain that we’re “making feminism look bad” by telling men who barge into a women’s space uninvited and against the rules to fuck off) barges into a women’s space uninvited to concern troll and is shocked … SHOCKED! … to find that some of us are fed up to the fucking gills with his kind and tell him to fuck off.
If the technology isn’t made to be used to allow communities to set their own rules, why is following the rules of a community an inherent part of participating in the fediverse?
Would you similarly insist on being allowed to participate in a women’s book club? Women’s hour at the local pool?
Oh it’s that crazy person again. Hello crazy person, you already proven to me that talking to you is a waste of time. Not interested in an exchange with someone who just makes up stuff and then claims that their fantasies are my intention.
It does seem that some men find it impossibly difficult to follow the rules around here, I agree.

Isn’t everyone expected to follow the rules of the communities they’re posting and commenting in?

Here, just for maximum irony:
Taken from lemmy.world.
Hahahaha pretty clear to me!
I don’t get it either. It is like building your “safe space” on a highway and then complain about the drive-bys.
The technology is inherently not made for the way it is used here so I guess it is more a powermove.
“I was oppressed in my life and so now I do it to the people that oppressed me”
Otherwise this doesn’t make sense to me.

Bye crazy person, hope you get well soon!
OK, let’s make this clear.
FUCK. OFF.
You are not welcome here.
FUCK. OFF.
Your opinions are not welcome here.
FUCK. OFF.
There is no silent majority what wants you here.
FUCK. OFF.
Is that clear, Sparky?

I assume your father is proud of the manly-man son he raised.
Oh so you are like the other crazy person who operates purely on assumptions and fantasy.
I guess you have to as you seem to break under the weight of the real world.
