I’m happy to announce that the beta version of my project has hit the water today. I don’t expect the first semi-automatic pistol in an adult caliber to have a smooth maiden voyage, but early testing hasn’t revealed any life-threatening issues.
About the pistol: Not fully printed, but no gun parts, just simple metalwork like drilling and cutting. Slide is a composite of printed liner and metal square tube, JB-welded together. Breech face metal too. ECM barrel. Available in 9x17 and 9x18 calibers.
Welcome, friends. Print, drill, assemble, test, have fun, and stay safe.

The first prototype survived over 20 shots without any sign of critical component failure. I can’t say how many shots were fired during the second test, but none of the participants reported any serious issues. As far as I understand, for most testers, including myself, this is highly illegal, so the testing was quite modest.
Why’s it illegal?? Are you not in the us? Politicians don’t follow the laws so why should society ya know? Proud of you.
