I thought all notifications have the same sound?
You can definitely go in and purposefully change the notification sound for each app and even each contact (literally no one does this though). I didn’t know apps themselves could have custom notifications out of the box though. That seems like a really annoying feature.
There are definitely some apps with different sounds on my android. For instance, the Outlook app plays the same sound on android that it does on Windows.
Viber sets a different default notification sound. It’s stupid. And for gays (maybe other lgbtiq+ ?) who maybe don’t want to be murdered by nazis, it’s an even stupider idea.
Back when I used Facebook messenger had their own, but that was a long time ago IDK if they still do.
