House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) on Sunday said Democrats will not focus on impeaching President Trump if they regain a majority in the lower chamber after midterm elections.

“I’ve made clear from the very beginning that our top priority is going to be to drive down the high cost of living,” the House minority leader added.

The House minority leader has lauded Democrats’ push for redistricting nationwide in an effort to pick up additional House seats and signaled that the party will advocate more for working-class Americans, after Democrats saw losses from the key demographic in the 2024 election.

Obama brought in the biggest positive chance to American healthcare in modern times and Biden’s policies were more progressive then his.

Tons of people still forgo or delay healthcare because they know or fear it will cost too much. This is the failure you should expect when you relabel a republican policy and pass it as progressive, after slapping on extra means-testing and weird, complex, market-based solutions in the moronic belief that this centrist model will appeal to both republicans and democrats, instead of just giving people free healthcare and appealing to everybody who likes having healthcare and money.

He knows obamacare is inadequate. But centrists have been coasting for 15 years on a heritage foundation policy that wasn’t far enough to the right for them so they stripped out the public option and have made zero attempts to add it back in.
