The flag is not mounted to the lamp, but directly behind it. You cannot see the pole for the lamp.

Dull Men's Club@lemmy.world•My 43 yr old microwave died today.English
3·17 days agoThe membrane buttons on my also Panasonic bread machine are dying after ten years. No more up, but at least it will cycle around through menus, so down button will suffice. I feel your pain and fear that soon too I will be in the same situation.
If you are able to fix the membrane switches please share!
Looks great! I love my bread machine, too!
If I had to guess, I would say that it was probably made in a bread machine due to the shape. Nothing wrong with that, though.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How can I avoid stress when I have a lot of things to do?English
2·22 days agoOne thing I try to do is to avoid procrastinating. If there is a task to do and I think to myself “I’ll do it later” I then ask myself “will it take more than five minutes”? If the answer is no, then I make myself do it.
I also use an app on my phone to keep a list of chores on a schedule. Having things lingering on the list is annoying, too. But the app allows me to skip or reschedule them. If you are on iOS and need some app like this I recommend PikaPika.

It gets worse. If you live abroad and need to renew it, it costs $600. In Japan, the locals can get a passport for about $100, and they’re planning to lower it to counteract a rise in the departure tax (I think).
