I just read up a bit on the CPRA. I’m gathering that it at least was a pretty decent civilian watchdog under Mac Muir, however he resigned back in February due to budget cuts. Their website hasn’t even been updated with that info, so I have little hope.

I watch chefs on YouTube demonstrate techniques, and then make recipes up as I go based on the ingredients I have available (This does not work for recipes that require exact measurements, like breads). Finding recipes through search engines has been a nightmare for a looong time.

The gist is it was an elderly person with preexisting conditions who spent a LOT of time in close contact with birds. No one else he was in contact with caught it, so there’s no indication at all of human to human transmission
