Reducing meat consumption is generally a win all around, and easier than going directly to zero.

That’s what I’ve been doing.

Most of the meat I end up eating is at a party or event someone else hosted.

Capitalism is fundamentally unfair. Some asshole who doesn’t even work keeps the benefits of the work. Fuck that.

Businesses are making more money, they are accumulating cash and so are their employees.

This seems… dubious. Where is the money coming from? Is it a closed system? My understanding is the government typically is putting money into the system through various mechanisms, much of which is giving money to rich people and their businesses.

Is the problem that the businesses have too much money? Because taxing them seems like a better solution.

My impression is a lot of the people in the hiring pipeline are bad at this job. Maybe they’re good at other parts of their job, but not hiring. Especially not the recruiters who aren’t themselves technical

The people making decisions at these companies, the business idiots, are too far removed from real life and real users.

They’re stupid. They’re bad at their job. They don’t deserve their money and life of comfort.

Fuck Microsoft. Don’t give them any money.

My team assigns both hours and points to tasks. I’ve never seen the points used for anything but they still spend time on it.

Has management known that?

A lot of problems seem to be downstream from “management are idiots and assholes”
