This is my favourite sign, I’ve seen it in person at the north end of Vancouver Island. Up there you really do need to be prepared.

This is a very particular beer, but the “after hauling and securing a boat at 2am with your boss because you’re a tide dependent yard” beer. Those were my favourites.
Seriously though, anytime we had a haul outside of regular working hours we’d all go sit in the back after and have a beer or pop or whatever and shoot the shit. It was nice times.
I would do that, but called it Turkish coffee. Get it ground that way.

Diesel and Styx, AKA Dieselbub and The Prince of Darkness.

I would absolutely be on the lick things team. I use my mouth as a tool all the time.
This post sounds incredibly weird.

I fluff mine every night, it’s part of the bedtime routine. Am I not supposed to be doing that? I like my pillows squishy, down, and always sleep with two. I usually sleep with flannel except like three months in summer when I switch to linen.
I used to sleep on my side but I tend to fall asleep better on my back now. With a squishy pillow it curves up around my head and supports it to either side.
My mom would do this a few times a year with me. I loved those days. I’d help her clean the house and do chores, then we’d do something fun together. I miss her.

That just sent me on a lovely rabbit hole learning about the glacier. So cool!!
You’re not alone, I feel the same way. I love the act of traveling almost as much as getting to my destination. I really like your quest description! I always look at it like a game. Figuring out the secret ways in the airport, gaming the system.
Yes! I liked that aspect in both the books and the games.
That’s why I don’t do any of the quests in Skyrim that kills a giant or mammoth. They’re just doing their thing, won’t mess with you if you don’t mess with them or their stuff.

Haaaaa! My daughter has this as her background on her iPad. It was at her school and she thought it was hilarious.

I wouldn’t say friends exactly but we have a pair of ravens that live in our yard. They have a symbiotic relationship with the cats. The cats catch mice and voles and then leave them in the front yard for the ravens, who are more than happy to gobble them up. There’s a whole unkindness of ravens that live in our woods but these two hang out around the house. In the spring there is constant squawking and chatter from them, it’s so cool to hear.
We also have a permanent resident hummingbird somewhere near the house. He loves the deck and will hover quite close to you when you’re sitting out.
And I can’t forget the flock of wild turkeys that roam the neighborhood. Every afternoon they stroll through the yard and last summer a mama and her babies were roosting in the trees out front. Around seven years ago there was a pair of albino babies born and now that flock has white feathers throughout. I have a video somewhere I should post.
It’s a veritable bird paradise over here lol.
Well, my friend who had a tree fall towards her car in a wind storm said “gun it and hope for the best”. It missed her by 6”.
