Interesting, but there’s no evidence they are nazi themselves, just that they intentionally disregard whether any of their partners are nazis, and only concern themselves with whether or not any partnership furthers their goal of promoting open source tech.

So their focus is just limited and immature.

They themselves can still do a lot of good, orgs don’t need to be perfect, but I too would expect them to remove support for extremist led project when made aware, as to ensure they weren’t inadvertently supporting extremist views and actions. But I also can’t see punishing them for being politically or socially stupid while otherwise being very tech savvy.

The world is mostly a bunch of grey areas: at this point I disapprove of a couple of their actions, but I won’t boycott them outright for their error.

If they started flying nazi flags themselves, well, then, I suppose things would be a bit different.

Handy, I VPN, but constantly have to use a seperate bypass browser for shopping and any website which forces language by region, which are many.

I’ve even been to some shopping sites with language options at the bottom but that also have endless scroll, so the bottom keeps getting pushed of screen.

There are a few that have an option right up in the corner, but sometimes they’ll only switch language, not region info, so it still shows costs in pesos and $80 shipping to my region.

The internet is 90% trash nowadays.

I don’t think they released it all. They did temporarily release some of it. But I think they parked it for the moment. Still have it all though, if I’m not mistaken. And the torrents might be available for some of the content, but I believe they removed the links on their site.

Honestly they should have released it all via a different platform. Not AA. Shoulda created a sister site for music.

I run a matte screen protector on my S25. Installed it day one. Matte screens are great!

I was considering a nextpaper or ePaper device when I got the s25, but I wanted something more top of the line, but with a more paper like screen. I found the matte screen protector works great at softening the screen, making it more paper like, but the device isn’t low end, so I can throw anything at it and it just works.

I’ve had some rather disappointing experiences with lower end stuff.

Smaller? M3 is pretty small.

99% of the internet is trash. Pages bouncing all over while loading, constant cookie or login popups (even with various blockers), links not connecting, old long outdated content being pushed to the front of searches, junk AI slop non-answers articles or marketing lists about a problem vs actual detailed answers…

Then there are all the various billing systems for various marketplaces, that all wanna require memberships for one time sales, before they tell you the shipping cost.

And so so much more.

It’s all heavily dysfunctional and lame and not user friendly at all anymore.

I don’t know when that was, but check out lower decks, prodigy, and strange new worlds. They’re all a bit different, but are definitely Trek. Strange new worlds is kinda Next Gen with a bit more modern humor and special effects. The other too are animations, but lower decks is very adult. Prodigy is probably more family friendly, but it was really good.

Just change the ring to blue so it stand out more.

I wanted one for a camper, before they were released, but only if the cab could be opened to the rear…
