You talk as if DEI has tipped the scales in the other direction because you experienced a few inconveniences, but in reality it’s not enough to balance them. You’re only talking about what you experience, but you have no thought for others. Which I actually can understand, it’s hard to relate to things you don’t experience and probably not even see (I don’t), but that doesn’t mean they don’t exist.

Lol no you’re not getting the short end of the stick. Yes, DEI shouldn’t be a thing in an ideal world, but we don’t live in an ideal world and white privilege is still a thing basically anywhere in the world.
Privilege maybe?

Maybe not equal, but rather worse than many on the far right (probably not all, I’ll give you that). Murder is bad, full stop. I don’t know why I’m wasting time explaining this…

11·15 days agoAnd now he’s a martyr who’s been killed by the radical left terrorists who celebrate his murder.
I didn’t know him before he was murdered (only knew his face of the memes, didn’t know what he stood for) and I think the world is a better place without him. But if you advocate for and celebrate people being murdered in the streets, then you’re just helping the far right narrative, and frankly it makes you not any better than them.

11·19 days agoDepends on what you do mean by Europe. Yes Russia is not a direct threat to Spain or Italy. But for the Baltics it’s an immediate threat. They might invade by next year. Yes, that would be utterly stupid, but so was invading Ukraine and they still did it. Poland will be next if they are successful in the Baltics and Ukraine. (Which they will if we don’t support them)
The worst thing we can do is ignore the threat just because it would be stupid for them to do it. When someone threatens you, take them serious. Especially if they have done something similar before.
I think most people nowadays mean Latin Americans with Lationos. Otherwise you’d also have to throw in the Italians, the French, the Romanians, half of the Belgians and bunch of Africans.

0·1 month agoAverage 3 years when they start potty training? Over here preschool starts at two and a half and kids are generally expected to be potty trained (accidents do still happen of course).
Not that I think your device has the same danger because water captured from the air will likely quickly be released again into the same air, but I think this is not a very good example of the safety of your device:
We can and we do. The Colorado and the Yellow river no longer consistently reach the ocean.
