This isn’t really true. Most successful revolutions in the last hundred years have been largely non-violent. I mean look at the dissolution of the USSR, for instance. Or Hungary recently, although how much of a revolution that is is sort of up in the air. Or Spain. I think the numbers are something like once 3% of the population is in the streets you’re donezo.

I mean, also, like, India was directly and very much this.

That isn’t to cast aspersions on violent revolution, but it’s more of a narrative than reality, at least now.

I don’t think that poisoning really works. They have AIs judge the answers before they incorporate them into the new AI. They can tell the best topping for pizza isn’t actually mayonnaise and strawberries

The number of times Claude has told me it’s going to eat its own dog food, making me gag, is far too many times.

I had people call me deranged because I tried to tell them about how I crafted a system to use AI to analyze large public databases and find instances of fraud. Like even after I told them that I’d explain anything and that the government has literally picked up cases they were like, “nah, you’re crazy.” IDK the anti-AI thing here is kind of funny considering how much stuff made by AI is on the front page at any time.
