The sad part is there are a lot of people who don’t understand this.

Why do my eyes itch? Pollen is a bitch!

So now the “centrists” are a problem in their eyes? Talk about being very direct that if you’re not fully in their side you’re the enemy.
I wonder what the “both sides are the same” folks think about that.

I recently had to tell one of my juniors to turn off his AI tools. His code was just all over the place and difficult to review. He still has a lot to learn, but I’ve already seen an improvement now that he actually has to be a bit thoughtful.

Can’t wait to hear all the AI crybabies.
Why is nobody buying my game? I spent a whole hour engineering my prompt! 😭😭😭

We need to solve a lot of problems like energy and resource usage to make it sustainable at a small scale and don’t feed the bubble and by extension the repercussions it will have on the world economy.
Just a few tiny little details to work out, to do “some very specific and well outlined tasks”. And while those things are being worked on, which may or may not be solvable, real and actual damage is being done now. But hey, who cares right?

You’re getting downvoted because AI is causing so much damage and ruining so many things. People still using AI are just adding to the problem and continuing to legitimize the bullshit.
If you truly want to learn aesthetics, read some books, take some classes, get some practice. Learn a new skill!

I used to like GOG but it looks like I won’t be supporting them anymore

Everything we buy from the US is made in China anyway, so we’re just cutting out the middleman.
If we can eliminate US IP protection next then we can build our own technology and do away with them completely.
It’s really not. A corporation is not a person.
A random person also does not have control over aspects of my life via lobbying and contracts I have no influence over. And if such a person existed (say billionaires) then it would absolutely be acceptable to go to their place and insult them. That’s called protest.
This isn’t people going and insulting innocent little Microsoft who hasn’t done anything. Microsoft’s behaviour is seen as unacceptable and people are speaking up.
