Wacław Nowak - Targets (Woman as Object) (1970)

ok, I’ll edit the title

Is it shocking? Am I that desensitised? Because I saw it and just thought to myself “yeah, that’s about right”
I certainly find this much easier to process than yet another news story of women having various horrors put upon them right now.
I feel like I’m coming apart with each one. I don’t want know, but how can I not at least give them the dignity of knowing that it’s happening? Even while I sit here powerless to do anything about it.

I think it’s getting worse, but even my first post on Beehaw after the API exodus was followed by a big list of how I was doing everything wrong because I’m a woman.
That put me off Lemmy for a long time
