My electric bill for the last few months has been almost $200.

I live in an under 400 sqft apartment that I keep under 68 degrees all year (it’s also like 70% basement only a portion of one wall and the entrance is not beneath ground) It increased from maybe $100 last year to almost $200 during this time. Energy costs here are absolutely insane.

Noted, my costs in summer are markedly less. Around $70-90. But the winter costs went up dramatically.

Yeah, the only issues I have are virtual mics to filter background noise on Discord. I have a program that does it, but I lose control over playing music as well (I have a solution through Helvum, but I have to do the specific audio paths every boot for Firefox -> Discord, and I can’t individually control the volume. Plus the path dies every time I pause the music).

But it was equally as frustrating to get it set up on windows with virtual cables as it has been to try to get virtual cables to work on Linux, so it’s a push there. Everything else has been basically as easy, give or take some of the learning curves of a new OS, and can be attributed to user error.

Dual boot has been nice. Both work how I want them to, 95% of the time, and if one is giving me issues in the moment, the other is likely to work. I do use Linux wayyy more rn tho.

It’s hard to say that unequivocally; I have family members who’s internet options are HughesNet, where they get data caps and speeds approaching a whopping 1mbps on a good day, 5g coverage that hardly works, or Starlink. Starlink has worked for them leeeaaaguesss better than any other option they have.

Doesn’t change the issues with the company or Elon, though. It just sucks that they are the only currently viable solution.

Yup! He played some CoD and 2k, I think, and I played a game with him called MX Bikes. He was actually pretty damn good at it, even without considering the amputations. He was also featured in a short ESPN doc after winning his regional cornhole championship or something to that effect.

So…I don’t think the guy used prosthetics. I played a few video games online with him, and he did not use prosthetics to play. We played a racing game, which was kinda wild, cause he used controller. Would push it down into his thigh for gas/brake on the triggers, and use his nubs for the buttons/sticks. He was pretty well handy (lol) on his own, getting around and stuff. Idk what he did for driving specifically, but he also had a video of him shooting a gun without prosthetics as well.

All that to say…I don’t think the man had prosthetics lol

I think that was a theater issue, idk if it carries over for streaming/home release. Nolan basically said that if you couldn’t understand it, you knew that theater had bad audio mixing or they were showing it in theaters that didn’t have appropriate systems for that mix. Or something along those lines.

Somehow, Hunter Lawrence gets 18th and it seems like he’s in a better place than ever to win SX. Tomac looks so far off its insane, and I don’t think Kenny will capitalize on his own without more Hunter mistakes. This is such a weird season so far. Love a Mookie podium as well. What a trooper after the A1 disintegration of his scapula.

1 corner DNFed like 4 guys because chains kept coming off. McLelland crashed out which sucked to see, I’d love to see Triumph find some success, and it isn’t happening in the US right now. Vialle also doing Vialle shit where he just shows up and wins, despite not really being the fastest guy. Both classes look poised to have great battles for wins though.

It’s Fahrenheit lol. It was a weird day. It was nice in the sun, but the UV index was high, and the wind was gusting like 10-20 most the day, so it was cold in the shade. Hard to find anything that was comfortable.

Also, edit for conversions. It was about 10c out, with the RealFeel of about 4c with the wind

This was actually yesterday, and it was kinda miserable lol. It was like 50 and sunny, but the wind was crazy all day and it felt like it was 40. Today would have been much better, but we didn’t stay for the 3rd day, long drive back home. It was a good time though! This was actually my first one to watch and first time racing one, BMX at least.

Forza just kinda lost its racing appeal, I think. The settings are great, the visuals are great, the vibe is usually good, if a bit corny, but Forza has just turned into a hardware showcase with a good-if-dated physics model there. I don’t think anyone is playing Forza Horizon because the racing is great, and that is kinda the crux of my issue with it.

Which sucks, cause I played the HELL out of FM2, FM3, especially FM4, and they have just kinda coasted since. The most recent Motorsport was supposed to boast some robust online ranked racing, and it was the most measly ranked system in existence, penalties weren’t consistent, and the game has basically died out, even as of 2024.

For the vape pen, I’ve seen people stand it up and hit it with a hair dryer, or if it’s real bad, centrifuge it with your arm after heating. They just do that tho.

Maybe I just don’t know how my system is in context, but it’s cool to see it would comfortably fit in the Extreme RT category. Didn’t peg a 9070xt for that performance spec, but I won’t complain.

Won’t be on Horizon anyway, shit is…bad imo, for a big racing fan. The driving just kinda sucks, and such an emphasis is placed on off-road driving, you’d think it would have any kind of emphasis placed on how it feels and handles. But nope, shit is just…bad. I don’t expect 6 to improve in any meaningful way either, because why would they need to? The hype is insane simply because Japan and Cherry Blossoms.

It’s like the Rick and Morty fandom (and others), I think; they let the satire become a core component of their personality, and it’s stupidly grating to outsiders. It also becomes a mechanism to belittle others or assume superiority.
