Hey guys, seeing the action of the Spanish people and remarks by different members of Spanish government against the Zionazi regime and the visits of Pedro Sanchez to China, I have a question that is he a comrade or not?
For morale sake, it’s little wins at this point. Spain dumping Isntreal and denying the US use of airbases against Iran seem like the barest of actions all governments should be taking, but it’s a W nonetheless. Even the nasty banker Macron should get an attaboy for dumping Microsoft, Palantir, and AWS. A year ago, no one in the West was even imagining the end of NATO, dumping US tech monopolies, and the EU sidling up to China. Was Canada joining the EU on anyone’s bingo card? Momentum is shifting away from the imperial US, it just hard to notice with all the fascists constantly screaming in our ears (and I say this as a life long curmudgeon and cynic).
No, he’s not. Although he is not a bootlicker like his opponents (Vox party) who openly call for US intervention in Spain.
Housing speculation in Spain is a very serious problem that has not been addressed. The party he belongs to (PSOE - Partido Socialista Obrero Español) is a progressive party. Let’s remember that progressivism is a tool of liberalism, and therefore, also our enemy.
The fact that he has severed ties with Isntreal and strengthened trade relations with China does not automatically make him a comrade. At this point in history, cutting ties with Isntreal is the bare minimum, and strengthening relations with China is the most advantageous thing any non-sovereign nation (in practice, not on paper or in speech) can do.
Call me when Spain consists of a single Marxist-Leninist party and they start socializing major industries and, even more importantly, the land.
