    It’s been a while. People forget the Internet was born and grew up in the U.S. It was globalized in the 90s.

    Also I wonder the average size/revenue of each data center is. I thought China would be #2 all theirs must be big.

      I suspect they don’t have all the information about what china and russia are doing in this regard.

      I heard the internet was created for universities to share research. Which soon became “research” of naked people having sex videos and pictures.

      There is definitely going to be a better metric than pure numbers of centres, but I doubt floor area is it. Something to do with actual useful capacity.
