      … expensive real estate.

      There seems to be two fairly consistent determining factors: burgeoning tech sector, and cheap land. In neither of which the east coast is replete.

      Is there? There are a ton of low regulation states with few if any data centers, and some states like Illinois have quite a few data centers but I imagine have more strict regulations

    I think we should pass referendums to seize control of these data centers and destroy them. Or just cut off their supply of water for cooling.

      Yep.

      Call then what they are. Spyware ad centers for disinformation, stealing elections, and the dumbing down of the populace.

      Get rid of them.
