You’re talking about a constitution after a fascist coup, which doesn’t seem very “constitutional” if you ask me.

The Maidan coup was lead by Svoboda, a minor fascist party that could/would never win an election on merit.

And yeah, the constitution was altered to prevent elections AFTER the coup. Are you really asking me like you didn’t know before today. Yet, sooooo confident.

They can vote in Eurovision singing contests, but they can’t choose their own government.😉👍

Well funny, Poland has the same provision in it’s constitution. And the state of war was used by local socialist government, on instruction from the Soviet Union, to quell mass strikes. So you would support these strikes against a communist regime, yes?

BTW your leader, president Trump does not support Ukrainians and is trying to force them to surrender, I see you full support his agenda.

I don’t really understand the connection you’re making, and it seems like a gishgalloping tangent.

I support the democratic human right of self determination, whether it be Palestine or the Donbass.

Democracy is derived from the individual, not religions, races, or arbitrary borders. No nation has a right to exist. People vote, not land.

Ukraine stopped being Ukraine the moment it’s democratic mandate to exist ended.

This has nothing to do with Trump the straw man. So if a guy in a KKK hood told you to quit smoking cigarettes would you start smoking cigarettes just to spite him?

Let the people of the Ukraine vote. It’s so fucking simple.

Dear friend in Lemmy, it’s you commenting under a post in a language which you clearly do not know, with an irrelevant comment.

So you support polish workers struggle against the communist regime, just as the people of Chechnya fighting against Russian oppression, right?

Let the people of the Ukraine vote. It’s so fucking simple.

People of the Russian empire voted their leaders away, or was it the popular rebellion against an unpopular power? Why there’s no such thing in Ukraine?

The people of Russia and the Ukraine both chose to remain in the Soviet Union in a highly touted referendum in 1991 that didn’t go how Gorby and his handlers thought, so they threw it out.

You conflate capitalism with democracy, which are actually antithetical to each other.
