Update: it works in Firefox and Librewolf but not Waterfox? But if it was just a browser issue then it would work in the Obsidian desktop app and it doesn’t.

Hello all! Sorry if this is the wrong community, please direct me to the right one if so.

I use Onboard on Linux Mint. Due to disability, typing is slow and tedious and predictive text is a crucial accessibility feature for online communication. For some reason, Onboard’s predictive text only seems to work in Text Editor and Libreoffice. It doesn’t work in Obsidian, or Signal, or anywhere on the web, really.

What should I do?
