I just checked Blorp, Summit, Interstellar, and Voyager and none have this feature.

Is there any Piefed client that already has this open?

I don’t believe this is currently supported by the PieFed API. It’s a good suggestion though, and I am surprised I haven’t seen anybody else bring it up until now. When I get a chance, I will make a codeberg issue for this.

From what I know from poking around the post API code, I don’t think it will be too tough to add. I think the harder part will actually be creating a way for these clients to get a list of scheduled posts and edit/cancel them.

Blorp dev here. If API adds support, I’ll do my best to get this feature in Blorp. However, I do have a bit of a backlog. Still working on PieFed poll editing through Blorp.

Just wanted to thank you for all your dedication and help upon this stuff, WJS018.

I love the PieFed scheduler, which is like a godsend to me. Back in my Lemmy daze, the tools didn’t exist, or were completely wonky.

So thanks to you and Rimu for a major upgrade in experience and significant tools, here. <3

Also thanks for the PieFed scheduler. I like being able to space out posts, so if I have a flood I can delay them to ensure more activity in the community long-term.

I run the Norm Macdonald SNL Jokes community on piefed.zip (https://piefed.zip/c/norm_macdonald_snl_jokes), and the scheduler is a God send. I put out a post at 6:30a and 6:30p every day, and I’ve got them scheduled up to the 3 1/2 weeks ahead of time. When I first started, I was doing it manually twice a day, but discovering the scheduler made it more consistent and less stressful to worry about.

So a big THANK YOU from me too!
