Whatcha all playing? I finally finished persona 5! Loved it!
Now I’m on to Cairn. Really cool so far! Pretty tough too
Coal LLC
It’s been my very much needed weekend destress game. One of those games, similar to Cloverpit, where I thought I wouldn’t like it… until I played it.
Slay The Spire
I’d love to play STP2, but I am saving money for a trip first weekend of April. It’s probably gonna be some time mid April or May when I can finally get the early access, assuming they don’t take it down for whatever reason.
Sonic Rush Adventure
Also a much needed destress game. Perfect for on the go on my 3DS.
I wonder if you’d enjoy:
Frostpunk
It’s a bit too short in my opinion, but fun. It does rounds of building and preparing then you have to endure the winter.Equally along those same lines, Timberborn is really cool. It’s another city builder, but with beavers. You have to survive waves of drought.
I’ve tried Timerborn once before and wasn’t able to get into it since my toaster desktop couldn’t run it well under windows. 10, but I’m willing to give it another try on either my deck or laptop some day in the future.
I’d also be down to try Frostpunk some day since it’s been long enough since I watched a playthrough that I wouldn’t mind trying it.
As to whether or not I’d like either, that’s the question of the hour. Kinda forgot both existed until you brought them up.
They have optimized timberborn a lot since launch. Also I’m curious how well it runs on Linux under steam’s proton commits. I’ve been able to run several windows titles effectively.
I’m early in Act 2 in my latest Baldur’s Gate 3 run.
Rolling around with the increased party limit is nice, because I get to hear a bunch of banter, that I’d never hear otherwise. I’ve basically never used Minthara, Jaheira or Minsc, and Halsin only once (he wouldn’t stop flirting with Shadowheart in that playthrough). Since I’m trying to fuck everyone as well (except maybe Squid Man), there are also a ton of camp events. Act 1 had so many, that I had to long rest five or six times back-to-back at the end, in hopes of not missing one. Act 2 looks to be a bit more quiet right now, but Act 3 should get a ton again, with all the dates or conclusions to the companion quests.
Increased party limit always feels too OP for me, but the banter is a big upside. Every play through I hear banter or dialogue that I had never heard before and I’m slowly making my way through my 4th run, trying to make my way through each origin character after my first run as a tav.
Definitely OP, but I’ve done a handful of normal playthroughs already, so I just wanna mess around this time.
