The joint @esa & JAXA BepiColombo mission is nearing Mercury.

And we’re proud to play a part in making it happen!

Together with @DFN, GÉANT connects ESA & JAXA to enable secure and reliable communication for the mission. Data travels from the European Space Operations Centre in Darmstadt via the DFN’s X-WiN to peering points in Frankfurt & Hamburg, then across the GÉANT network and Japan’s R&E network SINET to JAXA.
