I love the Wizarding World, I love the whimsy and good-fun nature of it all.
I remember being a kid and wanting my letter from Hogwarts, convinced myself that on my 11th birthday I’d get one. To this day I still love the Wizarding World. I almost wish it were real, that there were secret societies practicing the mystical arts, eating the most queer confectioneries and chanting the most bizarre incantations, using their powers for good or for awesome.

I will always treasure getting a taste of what it would be like to walk through the wizarding world when I went to Universal Studios, how rode through Gringotts and visited the shoppes. Oh the shoppes were so much fun. I didn’t buy much of anything, just a mug of Butterbeer. I am not a rich woman, even if I was I wouldn’t dare give HER a knut more than I have to.

As I type this I am watching the Sorcerer’s Stone movie, but I dare not use a reputable streaming service. The VPN is on.

You see I almost wish it were real, because JK Rowling created it and she hates me. If the wizarding world were real it would hunt creatures like me. Because I am a monster, a monster that feeds off of women’s rights, identity, and dignity. Things I seek to steal from women, why? Because I’m an evil trans woman of course, and that’s all we do.

Of course it isn’t, any sane person will tell you that we just want to live our lives in peace as women. But every day it feel like another celebrity, someone I used to look up to, calls us misogynistic mentally ill men who prey on women. Just the other day Sir Charles Barkley called us men, claimed to respect us, but called us men.

They always claim to respect us, always say they’d respect us if we kept to ourselves. That if we simply stayed out of women’s spaces and “just be gay”, they’ll let us have some rights, not right to transition or to use the bathroom. But they’ll let us wear a dress! On special occasions! In the privacy of our own homes of course! If it were in public a child might see and get ideas that gender is a spectrum, or in some way fluid.

Why must I love the world she made? When she hates me? When she views me as a monster. You’d think I sucked the estrogen out of cisblood with the way she despises people like me…

Just a week ago she claimed she respected trans people and supported our right to hormone therapy, but I knew it was a lie. I knew she was just saying that to drum up positive publicity for her show. And I was right, because when Dolly Parton died, JK Rowling cried crocodile tears for her and while doing so deadnamed a trans activist, claimed she had seen her birth certificate.

Always claiming to be the victim of the evil transes who must be kept away from women at all costs. Never allowed in spaces, groups, fandoms, or anything of women’s. They claim we’re the ones being unreasonable, that by not bowing to cis women as our betters we are being misogynists.

I watch my movie in secret, with headphones on, I dare not let anyone know that I enjoy anything might by that demoness. This is my second time writing this manifesto, the first time got deleted when I switched from link to discussion. I really wish I had the first version it had more of my steam, more of my passion.

The bottom line is this, JK Rowling hates me, and if the Wizarding World were real, it’d hate me too. Because JK Made it.

I think it’s fine to enjoy the world of Harry Potter even though JK Rowling is TERF trash.

I knew something was up with that series long before Rowling was outed as a TERF. The whole “Americans are too dumb to know what a Philosopher’s Stone is” never sat right with me. Then like a year later Fullmetal Alchemist became one of the biggest anime series, with a story based around the philosopher’s stone, so the Potter franchise looked really dumb, but they kept the US-only title. I also hated how the US cover of “Sorcerer’s Stone” made Hermione a blonde for some reason. An eleven-year-old girl wasn’t “pretty” enough for the paedophiles in Hollywood, so they changed her hair from brown to blonde for the cover.

Speaking of best girl, she doesn’t like JK Rowling, either. Hermione always fought for those she felt not enough people fought for, so you know she’s in your corner, and if Hermione is in your corner, so are Harry and Ron. Those are some powerful allies. You know who isn’t? Draco, and all the Death Eaters and “mud blood” haters (I think there was a name for them, but I don’t recall). So you might be a “mud blood” in the Potterverse. Not really, but something like that. Hermione is one, too, and she’s the best character in the series by my reckoning.

There’s also Hogwarts Legacy which, now that it’s made its money, is on fire sale all the time and has even been given away. The game features a trans woman running the pub in town selling Butterbeer, and you can make your character trans, if you want. You choose whether your character has breasts or not. You choose the male or female voice. Anyone can use any hair, or makeup options. I’m not sure if wizards can wear dresses, but they can certainly wear robes. My witch wore pants sometimes (she was not made to be trans). So yeah, then you set your pronouns (wizard or witch) and everyone treats you accordingly. I’m sure JK Rowling doesn’t like that, but she knows the game makes her money. But not very much. It’s almost always ten bucks on consoles or thereabouts, and it’s been free on PC. It’s worth the ten bucks just to explore Hogwarts and Hogsmeade and fly on the broom. The broom flying is outstanding. It’s a shame you can’t play Quidditch (unavailable due to plot, the headmaster has banned it), but you can do broom races and stunts. I might be mistaken, but there also might be a minigame where you catch a Golden Snitch. (I recently played Saints Row IV, which absolutely has the Golden Snitch, and it’s intended as a Harry Potter reference; catching it erases your Wanted level in this superpowered Grand Theft Auto clone. So that might be what I’m recalling.)

Anyway, so no, the Wizarding World wouldn’t hate you, because Hogwarts Legacy is absolutely canon. Even if JK Rowling said it’s not — and I do not believe she has — we don’t care what she says because she’s a POS trash human. The Wizarding World accepts trans people if they’re witches or wizards and respects their pronouns, and has no problem putting them in the correct dorm. That is, if you make a trans witch with no breasts and the male voice, you will be in the witches’ dorm and be physically prevented from entering the wizards’ dorm by the magic protecting the door, just like you can’t even set foot in a Common Room you aren’t a member of. (I went with Ravenclaw because of course I did, it’s where Hermione should have gone, but apparently it’s the most boring House to play, since each House gets one unique quest and of course its own bespoke Common Room entrance; apparently every other House is better, but I could personally only choose Ravenclaw.)
