TBF, Mbappé has been one of the strongest candidates for the Ballon d’Or I can think of in the last eight years. Problem is, he never gets it exactly right (or someone does slightly better than him): this year, I believe both Olise and Kvaratshkelia start ahead of him. And maybe Rodri too, but his club season has been far from exceptional.
