Huh… Come to think of it, that would be a really difficult show to produce. Not only do you need a lot of SFX-heavy TF scenes, you’re also going to need a lot of different well-trained animals (some of them quite exotic) to represent the characters in their animal forms … or else a whole lot of CGI budget for CGI animals instead. I guess in the modern reboot, they’ll probably go mostly CGI for the animals. Working with live animals in film is usually a huge headache – they often don’t cooperate, and you need special treatment and expensive 3rd party verification that you’re not harming the animals.
